 Progesterone soft gelatin capsule in a micronized form.

. Indicated for progesterone deficiency disorders (premenstrual syndrome, hypo fertility & with estrogen during post-menopause as a hormone replacement therapy).

. And indicated in cases of threatened abortion or prevention of repeated abortions & for luteal phase support during in vitro fertilization cycles.

. Absorbed by the digestive tract the highest plasma levels are observed 1-3 hours after administration.

. Rapid vaginal absorption & high plasma levels of progesterone are observed after 1 hour.

. With vaginal doses superior to 200 mg daily, the progesterone concentrations are like those of the first trimester of pregnancy.
